M1166 har en medelhög metallhalt med oorganiska beståndsdelar. Högt friktionsvärde även vid temperaturer på 700–800 °C. Lågt slitage även vid höga temperaturer. Lämplig för rally och touringcar-tävlingar, särskilt långdistanslopp.
